Redman brings over 30 years in veterinary medicine and business strategy to the veterinary profession’s leading practice broker.
RICHMOND, VA, July 8, 2022 – Ackerman Group, the nation’s leading veterinary practice sales broker, is excited to welcome Dr. Roger Redman to the company in the newly-created position of Vice President of Business Development. In his role, he will work alongside practice owners as they embark on the increasingly complex process of selling their businesses to the industry’s numerous corporate ownership groups.

Dr. Redman boasts extensive leadership experience in veterinary medicine, animal health, and corporate acquisitions. He has been appointed and served under three Ohio Governors to the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board, was elected to the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors, and was the 2019-2020 President of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards, which oversees the regulation and licensing of Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. Before joining Ackerman Group, Roger worked as both a Partnership Development Specialist and Director in Partnership Development during his nearly 4-year tenure at Encore Vet Group. In addition, he has been an owner and President of three Ohio-based veterinary hospitals. Roger earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1990.
